Colombia has become the first country in Latin America and the Caribbean to issue energy saving policies under the Energy Savings Insurance Program (ESI), endorsed by the Lab in 2015. The program would benefit five small and medium-sized enterprises that have invested in energy efficiency projects by guaranteeing energy savings and building confidence in the project’s robustness.
