New Delhi—The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (“the Lab”) is pleased to announce that ECube Climate Finance (ECF) has joined as a member of the Lab. ECF co-founders Harish HV and Shankar Venkateswaran will immediately join the Lab’s India panel.

“ECF was founded to provide financial services and funds to mitigate adverse climate impact, and focus and catalyse the attention of India Inc on climate issues,” said Shankar. “The Lab’s work aligns perfectly with our mission, so we are excited to help expand the Lab’s visibility and impact in India.”

The Lab, founded in 2014, has already endorsed nine India-focused climate finance instruments that address a range of issues from solar energy to sustainable transportation. Its 2020 class of climate finance instruments will be announced in September.
